General worker Pick & Pack

Mission

Newrest is looking for General Workers in our Pick & Pack department who will be responsible for putting together the food trolleys for our airline client. This will include placing beverages and snacks into the food trolleys, organizing utensils and provisions and placing them in the food trolleys. This will also include organizing beverages per instructions. This individual will be standing all day. Newrest values promoting people from within. Responsibilities:

•

Load carts and trolleys with platters, dishes, utensils, and containers.

•

Collect serving trays and dispose of plates in trays by following the instructions and guidelines.

•

When loading trays into the trolleys, ensure they are placed appropriately within the frame of the rack.

•

Assist in setting up and packaging special meals and ingredients.

•

Complete the defined packaging schedule as assigned by supervisor or manager.

•

Edit and organize labels outside and inside for the scheduled production of the day.

•

Perform proper food packaging and storing based on safety requirements and customer instructions.

•

Tag every rack, tray, and trolley according to the company’s standards and processes.

•

Ensure that left-over ingredients and packaging material are properly labelled and returned in the dry storage, cooler or packaging material storage.

•

Follow all process control documentation.

•

Bring trays and packaging material from the warehouse and waiting area.

•

Ensure proper and timely recording of activities.

•

Report any unsanitary practice and/or unsafe condition.

•

Make sure trolleys are properly identified, secured, and moved away from chemicals and hazardous substances.

•

Load airline equipment with trays, dishes, utensils, and containers according to specifications provided.

•

Handle airline equipment and dispose of items in trays by following the instructions and guidelines.

•

Complete packing production of items assigned by supervisor or manager.

•

Follow all process control documentation.

•

Report any unsanitary practice and/or unsafe condition.

•

Make sure trolleys are properly identified, secured, and moved away from chemicals and hazardous substances.

•

Follow all food safety, health and safety, company rules and standards.

•

Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position.

•

Perform other duties as assigned.

•

Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements related to product and service quality, environmental standards, food safety, and health and safety regulations.

•

Promote a safe and healthy work environment by preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, eliminating hazards, and reducing health and safety risks.

•

Compliance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points ( HACCP)/ General manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by unit management.

•

Satisfactory and punctual attendance are expected.

Ability to lift items/packages (up to 30 lbs)

•

Team oriented

Ability to handle pressure in a fast paced environment

Attendance, diligence, punctuality, reliability

•

Good work ethic

•

Ability to work any shift depending on operational needs.

•

English- and/or Danish speaking is a must

•

Living in Denmark or Sweden is mandatory

•

You must have a permit to work in Denmark

•

You must be able to pass a security approval process
