Block manager

About the position We are looking for an experienced Block Manager with a strong background in design management, construction, and large-scale industrial and commercial projects. The role involves responsibility for assigned building blocks from design through construction and handover, with a focus on coordination, quality, schedule, interfaces, and stakeholder management. Main responsibilities Manage assigned building blocks from design development through construction and handover. Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and other technical disciplines. Manage interfaces between buildings, utilities, infrastructure, and other project areas. Coordinate consultants, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders. Review design documentation and resolve technical and interdisciplinary issues. Monitor construction progress, quality, schedule, and compliance with project requirements. Conduct site inspections and support construction coordination. Manage design changes, technical queries, and interface issues. Support commissioning, completion, and handover activities. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, permits, and project requirements.

Experience 20+ years of experience in architecture, design management, construction, and project development. Extensive experience with large-scale and complex building projects. Experience with major industrial, infrastructure, and public-sector projects. Strong experience in construction supervision. Experience working with international consultants, contractors, operators, and stakeholders. Knowledge of FIDIC contracts, design coordination, quality control, and project delivery. Education & qualifications Bachelor of Architecture/ Civil Engineering PMP training. AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Bluebeam, MS Office, MS Project, Aconex, Teamcenter, and Omega 365. Languages English, Swedish (Polish, Spanish, Turkish will be a plus) We are looking for A senior construction/design professional with strong technical and coordination skills, experience managing multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to take ownership of building delivery in a complex industrial project environment.
